Day 730 - Coming Out of Retirement

Image result for coming out of retirement quotes

I can recall on more than one occasion, declaring that I was taking an early retirement. The idea of an early retirement is something I was looking into at the end of my teenage years and the beginning of my twenties. My attitude was that I am ready to commit to full time leisurely pursuits. The consideration was that perhaps I would not make it to old age or that I would be less mobile, less flexible, less capable or less able bodied. From my perspective, I was of the notion that I should give as much time to myself now as possible....even if I have to pay for it later....that giving myself tremendous amounts of time now, would pay dividends later...as like actually gifting myself with the privilege to slow down and seize the day.  This was regarded as somewhat of a radical notion because all my peers were looking to position themselves into life long careers so that they had the potential to secure their retirements.  I also figured that I could have a retirement now...and perhaps I could still have one later. I mean, initially I kind of regarded that my adulthood would be a lifelong retirement of sorts and that it would be focused on  my individual self-interests in the now of consciousness...without real longtime planning from the perspective and principle of Be Here Now.

Well, it's been perhaps just over a decade since i first declared myself taking an early retirement.

There's been many times throughout this past decade where i forgot that I had many times declared and wished for myself an early retirement and within this not really considered the fabric of my wishes. My immediate regards were that of fulfilling my immediate and moment to moment desires. a lot of very treats from the day to day and month to month retirement living management.

What also appealed to me about this approach is not really having wanted to get serious about long term planning...committing to any long term plan.

I would say also within this was the concern that I would have to give up my childhood for adulthood.  My thinking was that I will carry my childhood into adulthood and I will take the senior approach very childishly...from the perspective that I will skip the typical young adult middle age mentality and go right for retirement kind of living....from the perspective of my focus being on the shortsightedness of daily pleasures and leisurely pursuits.  My thinking about recreation was that perhaps I will want to play more now then when I am older...maybe I wont want to play so much when I am really old...and then I would rather focus on work....because from my perspective old people don't seem all that playful...I mean sure there's a lot of them that are cheerful and good spirited but they also kind of sit around a lot...and isn't there a lot of young people in jobs where they sit around a lot....wouldn't it be better to take a sit around type of job when I am old...

I also have had the attitude that I have a Golden Ticket.

I remember this steady girlfriend I had for some years and she was finishing her schooling up and was prepared to get into career mode and begin a family.,..and at that time I was not at all interested in that approach for myself..I was in full out retirement mode...thinking that my living leisurely as my recreational pursuits were my investments for my future and that I have a  Golden Ticket that I can cash in when I so desire....and the thing about my thinking was that my golden Ticket has so much potential like the realization within myself that I can in fact do what ever I want....like I am the will and the way and so realizing this is like a wow realization because it is a point of self-comfort within and as self-empowerment. At the same time...there can be almost an urgency within self that comes up as like wanting to make something happen because potential exists...and at the same time a hesitance of not wanting to rush things....kind of a indecision between getting going and postponing....

A realization that has become clear to me is that Yes, Indeed I do have a Golden Ticket and this Golden Ticket is in fact my Potential Here...and the thing is...I Require to Use My Golden Ticket...and I cannot just save it away and avoid it for a long time later.....that is foolish....My Golden Ticket has the Most Value Now...and The Value Of My Golden Ticket Gets More Valuable every day I Exercise it....like a card I got to pay/play with as the decisions I make.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for not realizing and understanding how the wishes and declarations I make for myself shape my reality.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for fearing to take on long term planning as point of self-directed commitment and responsibility I bring into fruition

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for thinking that typically people fall apart when they get old.

Day 487 Time for Fitness Exercises?

How much time to I need to exercise? I noticed an interesting thing yesterday, I don't really need any extra time to exercise.  What I mean by this is that the time to exercise already exists everyday, regardless of the schedule.  What I mean, is that it is just a matter of incorporating exercise moves into routine/schedule.  Like for example, I have a dog that I am responsible for taking out for a few walks a day...and while I'm outside with her the opportunity exists for me to do some exercises....like there is a huge range of physical movements that I can express myself within and further my strength and understanding of my physicality by simply playing with physical body movement expressions. For example, the dog is stopped to smell a bunch of things, and so I do a bunch of squats on the spot.  The point i'm getting at is that I can freestyle fitness exercises throughout the day without having to set a side a big block of time for fitness exercises.

So, I'm just beginning to really play with this point of "freestyle fitness exercises".  I'm seeing it as a cool point of in the moment self expression physical body support.  I mean, the Earth is like one big giant playground, I see and realize the potential to play with physical body movements exists everywhere.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for having been resistant to "freestyle fitness exercise" where I can play with my physical movements everywhere I am.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for being judgmental about doing stretches in a public place.  I realise and understand the absurd ridiculousness of restraining myself from stretching when I am standing around in a public place.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be stiff and rigid.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for fearing to be really flexible in all public situations.

I forgive  myself for accepting and allowing myself for having ideas as forms of judgement about how I am suppose to move within public interactions.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for resisting to use little bursts of physical exercises like push-ups, planks, squats, stretches after sitting or laying down for a little while.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for thinking that there's no point in doing physical exercises, unless I am going to do them for a very long time.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for dismissing and disregarding the fact that every thing counts.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for for having justified not counting things I regard as not very big.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for not taking the time to insure that I am playing throughout my day within and as the various range of physical movements I participate within throughout the day.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for disregarding and neglecting opportunities and my abilities to physically move/express myself throughout the day.  I realize and understand that all physical movement starts with breathing. I realize and understand that it is through breathing that I am able to advance specific physical body movement expressions.  I realize I have neglected so many moments of physical expression here within breath.

I commit myself to physical expression within breath.

I commit myself to utilize the time and opportunity that exists each day/night to incorporate fitness exercises into my range of physical body self-expressions.

I commit myself to "freestyle fitness exercises"

I commit myself to sharing my process of discovery/self-expansion.

Day 486 Fitness Training

Fitness training is a point I'd like to open up in writing. I like physical activity, yet the idea of training to improve performance within specific physical activities/sports has always been a huge point of resistance for me.  I'd like to start with some self-forgiveness in regards to fitness training.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for judging fitness training as not enjoyable work.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for judging and comparing fitness training as less than the sports/activities I enjoy participating within.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for resisting to develop and strengthen my physical body with fitness training exercises.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for thinking about fitness training as being valid support for myself but then justifying and excusing myself from participating within the point.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for neglecting to give myself the physical body support within fitness training.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for neglecting to develop my physical body strength and conditioning.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for not realizing and understanding how I have been dishonest with myself within deliberately avoiding and waiting to giving my body physical attention in strengthening my muscles.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for resisting the labor involved in physically developing my body through fitness training as a point of support and assistance for  my well being here.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for lacking the discipline and commitment to physical body nourishment and support through regular fitness training exercises.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for spiting my physical body within neglecting to utilize daily physical exercises as a point of enjoyment/support/self-expansion/awareness/learning development.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for making excuses as to how I will implement fitness training exercises later.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for compromising my best athletic performances by neglecting to give any attention to training exercises that will assist me with optimum performances, as like enabling myself to express myself at my potential.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself for resisting my physical body potential

I commit myself to strengthening my physical body.

I commit myself to utilizing specific training exercises as a platform of support and assistance for my physical well being here.

I commit myself to fitness training as point of caring for my body and taking self-responsibility to prevent injury within specific sports/activities by adopting fitness training into my life as a practical living point of support.

When and as I see myself making excuses to dismiss scheduled fitness training, I stop and breathe, I realise and understand that fitness training is a point I would like to expand and grow within myself as a point of self-mastery.

I commit myself to practical living physical fitness.

I commit myself to playing within the point of physical fitness.

I commit myself to self-discipline within fitness training.
